Import guide
Import Charles Schwab trades
Export your trade history from Charles Schwab and drop the file into TradingScorecard — the format is recognized automatically, so there's nothing to configure.
1. Export from Charles Schwab
- Log in at schwab.com and open Accounts → History.
- Pick the account, then choose a custom date range.
- Click Export in the top right, choose CSV, and export again to start the download.
- Confirm "All Transactions" is selected under Filter by Transaction Types before exporting.
2. Upload it
On the free plan, drop the CSV or Excel file into TradingScorecard from the import screen — no manual mapping needed. Paid plans can instead connect the brokerage account directly and skip the export step entirely.
TradingScorecard recognizes a Charles Schwab export by these columns: Date, Action, Symbol, Quantity, Price
Things to know
- Schwab caps each CSV download at 1,500 rows — split large histories into more than one export.
